Each month we update our library center to fit the learning opportunities for the month. This month we focused on St. Patrick’s Day! Here are our favorite reads from our St. Patrick Day reads this month.

How To Catch a Leprechaun– This is a cute read about how a group of kids attempt to catch a leprechaun! This is a great holiday read that could increase children involvement by creating a Leprechaun catcher at the end of the reading! Get your copy below!

Pete the Cat- The Greatest Leprechaun Chase– This is a classic Pete the Cat read, where Pete attempts to capture a Leprechaun for all of his friends. In the end, Pete decides that friendship is the best kind of luck that someone could have. Get your copy with the link below!

How to Trap a Leprechaun– This is another tale about several children’s attempts to capture a Leprechaun. They quickly find out how difficult of a task this is. Get your copy now!

The Littlest Leprechaun– This is a great story about how the smallest leprechaun in the village can make all the difference if he uses his strengths to his advantage. Get your copy here.

The Night Before St. Patrick’s Day– In this story, the children get together the night before St. Patrick’s day and set out traps for their leprechaun. They wake up the next morning to all the traditional St. Patrick’s Day tasks like bagpipe playing and green eggs! Such a cute read. Get your own copy HERE.

The Story of Saint Patrick’s Day– This is a more educational take on your Saint Patrick’s Day experience. This book not only covers the shamrocks, clovers and pot of gold that you often see on Saint Patrick’s Day, but also discusses the historical part of the holiday and the history of Saint Patrick himself. Great for your homeschooling library.
